Surprising Series in Self-Portraiture

For this new series, I’ve been inspired by the exhibit “Beyond Van Gogh,” wherein I was reminded of his prolific production of portraits, including self-portraits. My aim is to draw and/or paint a portrait per day, beginning with a realist approach, followed by a more stylized interpretation of self-portraiture.
